While there are problems with employment and economic difficulties throughout the world, within the USA many are still discussing and concerned with outsourcing by companies in the United States. My question is what is an important basis for job creation

Throughout the USA there is much discussion about jobs being created by companies. There is one significant path that could promote the creation of jobs. Research and development, innovation and inventions; development of new and improved products, technologies, etc. In order for the USA to move forward and continue its quest to hire more individuals, research and development and innovation must be one of the priorities. Many companies are just trying to survive and increase productivity and revenue, and show profits while the industries are at a critical point to re-employ workers. If the work is not there and jobs continue to go over seas, the task becomes just that much harder. In the past, research and development, innovations and improvements have provided the opportunity for a stable workforce and quality of life, increased productivity (“real” and not over worked employees), revenue and profits. How much innovation leading to research and/or development is going on in all the industries is the question,…it is vital to the workforce survival and a stable standard of living.
