Lessons Learned

Sometimes we don’t want to admit we have made a mistake or that there were issues with a process or its activities. But how else are we to correct our mistakes and learn from our mistakes; to improve. Whether one thinks it can lead to finger pointing is not a reason not to have the activity documented and used to improve the project and processes for current and future use. Finger pointing comes when it has not been communicated properly and used to assist and help the collaboration of team members. Feedback and lessons learned are essential for process and project improvement activities, and establishes a state of mind and activity to create best/good practices.
